Statistics between June 2017 and May 2018 demonstrate that crimes that fall under the bracket of violence and sexual offences are the most commonly committed crimes across the area of Loughborough. The total number of these crimes during the two time periods is 741, making up 22.35% of reported crimes.
Shoplifting is the second most commonly committed crime across Loughborough with a total of 499 reported offences between June 2017 and May 2018. Following violence, sexual offences and shoplifting, the most commonly committed crimes are as follows:

Between May 2017 and June 2018, a great 73% of reported crimes, which makes up a total of 2112 crimes, resulted in no further action. Following this statistic, the next most common outcome for reported crimes during the same time period makes up just 10% of outcomes and was labelled as under investigation.
